Cowled Foundation – Mission Statement
The Foundation will dedicate its efforts to a broad range of charitable causes and purposes. Its primary emphasis will be directed towards assisting operating charities with Australian Taxation Office approved Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status involved in:
- the education of gifted underprivileged and disadvantaged indigenous girls throughout Australia
- the education of gifted underprivileged and disadvantaged girls from rural communities throughout Australia
- early childhood intervention programmes and projects for disadvantaged regional girls.
The Foundation's gift making policy will also give special focus to organisations that support the education and performance in theatre, classical ballet and dancing of regional children.
The Foundation is administered by Charities Aid Foundation of North Sydney.
